Brew Hoop Night Shift: October 23

Every evening at 8:00 pm central, this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Tonight’s (on) Topic: Victor Oladipo in a Bucks uniform?

Zach Lowe hinted at the possibility of the Bucks being suitors for the athletic point guard in a recent episode of his ‘The Lowe Post’ podcast on ESPN. He might be one of the most electrifying players in the NBA, but I do not think it is worth the injury risk if you are the Milwaukee Bucks. Oladipo had the best season of his career back in 2017-2018 where he averaged 23.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.4 steals per contest. However, he has not been the same since he suffered a serious leg injury during the 2018-2019 season.

While it is understandable that it will take Oladpio a little bit to get on track, I believe the Bucks are better off at pursuing Danilo Gallinari. While both are an injury risk, Gallinari is a better fit and will be much cheaper since he has hinted at wanting to join a contender.

Tonight’s (off) Topic: Shows to stream?

My girlfriend and I are currently watching Arrested Development on Netflix and find it hilarious. We also are close to finishing Schitt’s Creek and if you have not seen it, you are missing out! We also watch Pen15 which is a funny, cringey show that will throw you back to the middle school days. Would love to see some more suggestions in the comments. Much appreciated!
