The Brew Hoop podcast is back, this week a day late and a few wins short, as we waited until the Milwaukee Bucks had played the New York Knicks to record. In this episode, we try to make heads and tails of the Bucks uneven performances from the jump, starting with their narrow loss to Boston, heading to the blowout win over Golden State and the no good, very bad, horrible loss to the New York Knicks.

Throughout those discussions, we each take a stab at figuring out the issues with Milwaukee’s defense, which simply isn’t playing at the league-best rate we grew accustomed to last year before the bubble. We also chat about Bud’s rotation choices, the dropoff when we go from starters to bench this season, as well as the lack of diversity in Giannis Antetokounmpo’s game thus far and Brook Lopez looking for his role.

Finally, we briefly touch on the debut of the new city edition jerseys and chat about whether we’re excited for the back-to-back matchup with the Miami Heat. As always, thanks for listening. The Fountain Pen review starts at 1:12:09.
