What did everyone think of The Last Dance?

Every evening at 8:00 pm central, this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

Tonight’s (On) Topic: The Last Dance Finale

The final episodes of The Last Dance aired Sunday evening, and the one piece of entertainment getting NBA fans through these past few weeks has now come to a close. I’m saving the final two episodes to watch by my lonesome this Friday so the experience doesn’t have to end. What did everyone think of the documentary as a whole, if you watched it?

Tonight’s (Off) Topic: Documentary Recommendations

Beyond The Last Dance, are there any other documentaries that people swear by, be they about sports or life in general? I still haven’t watched a whole ton of the 30 for 30 collection, so I’m not as well-versed in sports documentaries as I would like, but some other ones I’ve enjoyed include Icarus on Netflix, which follows a winding investigation into Russian doping scandals in the Olympics. I also recommend American Factory and can’t say enough about Minding The Gap. No movie has stuck with me in the past five years or so quite like Minding The Gap; if you haven’t seen it, I can’t recommend it enough. You should be able to access it via Hulu.

As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
