Every evening at 8:00 pm central, this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.
Today’s COVID-19 NBA Update
So according to Woj, it would appear that the NBA is moving forward with the plans to open practice facilities for teams in states that have loosened social distancing restrictions, competitive balance issues be damned!
Sources: As some practice facilities become able to re-open starting Friday, teams are still instructed not to test asymptomatic players for coronavirus. For now, NBA's informed teams of updated measures on cardiac screening for certain players prior to voluntary workouts.

However, it’s certainly couched with the caveat that the NBA is trying to preserve public good will by abstaining from COVID-19 test hoarding.
Without widespread coronavirus testing available to country, NBA remains sensitive on using tests w/ players showing no symptoms entering facilities to start workouts. If/when NBA opens camps for a formal return to play, there's an understanding testing protocols would change. https://t.co/3Wbo3K1dgj

Today’s (on) topic: Bucks Reopening for Practice Next week?
A rundown from @JeffZillgitt & me on which NBA teams will open/remain closed on May 8th for individual workouts. The Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets & Portland Trail Blazers plan to open their facilities on Friday https://t.co/rkX2YyBlUW

According to a single sentence within this piece from Jeff Zillgitt and Mark Medina, they say the Bucks are potentially targeting a day next week to reopen their practice facilities while following the strict guidelines laid out by the NBA. How would everyone feel about that?
Tonight’s (Off) Topic: Cauliflower Rice
Does anyone here like the stuff? I know some people that swear by it, and my wife and I used it for a time while dieting, but the stench of it in large amounts just overwhelmed me to the point I couldn’t stand it. I’ll just take the calories of rice and die a few pounds heavier some day. Do other folks here like cauliflower rice, and if so, any tips for making it not smell like an opossum died in your fridge’s coolant system?
As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
