Every evening at 8:00 pm central, this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.

The 90s Sonics overwhelmed teams with a revolutionary trap-and-switch defense. In this week's breakdown, I explain how it worked, why it's perfect for the modern NBA, and what current teams can learn from its strengths and weaknesses.https://t.co/ez0CeKJHDG pic.twitter.com/Obv8FK9MoZ
Former SB Nation-er Mike Prada has been looking at some of the league’s forgotten members, including these versions of the Seattle Supersonics from the 1990s. In this edition, Prada looks through their trapping/switching defensive scheme and how it would be applied to today’s NBA. The present day Milwaukee Bucks might not adapt anything from it, but you never know!
Today’s (off) topic: professional development
During COVID-19, I’ve been lucky enough to maintain my employment while maintaining my (social) distance from everybody else. This week, I’ve been neck-deep in learning all about data visualization software, and let me tell you: I enjoy it. What about you? What sorts of things do you try to learn for your career? What successes have you found from it? Let us know in the comments!
As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
