Washington continues to deal with an outbreak that’s seen seven players on the roster test positive. They haven’t played a game since January 11, but were hopeful to return to practice as of Wednesday, January 20. Here’s hoping that all of their players and staff are able to make a full recovery.
As for the Bucks, this was their first postponement of the season. Or really, interruption (beyond the obvious health and safety protocols) due to COVID-19, as they’ve thankfully been able to avoid any positive tests that we know of. They faced off against a Mavericks team last week who were down several players due to contact tracing and positive tests within that organization.
The Bucks are on track to face the Los Angeles Lakers tonight, Thursday, and will face the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.
