Weekly NBA Game Thread: Week of Jan. 25th, 2021

Every Tuesday Monday at 5:00 PM Central (for the foreseeable future) this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. This is your place to discuss all the NBA’s action happening during the week when the Bucks are off-duty.

Hope you enjoyed the view from the top Milwaukee Bucks fans, it didn’t last long after last week’s results. Here’s the standings before tonight’s slate.

With a clear top-five at the moment in the Eastern Conference (likely to be top six when Miami figures out whatever is going on there), the rest of the teams are stuck in a sticky morass of the middle besides Washington and Detroit. As for the West, the Timberwolves keep stinking, the Pelicans keep being weird, and the Lakers, Clippers and Jazz are singing. We’ll see how the final week of January shakes out as each team inches closer to the All-Star Break in March.
