The Milwaukee Bucks close out an uber-disappointing weekend dropping their second straight game as the Charlotte Hornets prevailed, 126-114.
Milwaukee posted a disappointing first half, allowing a similarly dispiriting knockdown performance as Charlotte went 13/25 (52%) from deep in the first half. They led 68-64 after two periods. By the end of three, the Bucks still trailed by three, 97-94. Milwaukee kept it close but the Hornets capitalized on some late Bucks turnovers to snag the win. Despite a near triple-double from Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee couldn’t overcome another opponent’s solid shooting night from deep and their own defensive gaffes.
Stat That Stood Out
Charlotte capitalized on turnovers at every opportunity in this one, winning the points off turnover battle, 27-11. LaMelo Ball in particular took advantage whenever possible pushing it into the front court or kicking for easy triples.
