Rapid Recap Game 2 vs. Miami: Bucks 132, Heat 98

Milwaukee blows out Miami in Game 2

The Milwaukee Bucks now have a 2-0 series advantage against the Miami Heat, as they would earn a demanding 132-98 victory at Fiserv Forum.

NBA.com Box Score

As soon as the ball was tipped, the Bucks started scoring — and they were scoring threes. They’d connect on ten threes in the first quarter alone, which helped them secure a 46-20 advantage going into the second. Fiserv Forum was absolutely rocking.

That same energy carried into the second quarter. The Bucks could not miss. Bryn Forbes would erupt for 19 first half points and was just absolutely cooking. At halftime, the Bucks carried a massive 78-51 advantage.

Throughout a chippy third quarter between the two teams, the Bucks would have no issue maintaining their lead. Going into the final quarter of play, Milwaukee maintained a decisive lead, building things up to 107-78.

From that point on, Milwaukee was never in any danger. They’d put the finishing touches on a decisive 132-98 victory.

Stat That Stood Out

It’s impossible for me to not go with Bryn Forbes here. Right away in the first quarter, he’d come off the bench and serve as the spark that set the dynamite off. All in all, he connected on six threes and brought the energy all night long. All year long, you knew that Forbes would bring that capability off the bench in the playoffs, and tonight, that’s exactly what he did. An absolutely exceptional shooting performance from him tonight.
