Milwaukee Bucks vs. Brooklyn Nets Game 4 Preview: Bucks Look for Another Home Win

2021 NBA Playoffs - Brooklyn Nets v Milwaukee Bucks

After holding on to win Game 3 on Thursday night, the Milwaukee Bucks will look to win again in Fiserv Forum to even the series. Brooklyn will hope to go back home with a chance to clinch the series.

Where we are at

Yes, Milwaukee won Game 3, but it wasn’t looking pretty after the first quarter. Giannis and Khris were able to get every shot they wanted, which led Milwaukee starting off hot with 31 first quarter points and a double digit lead. Brooklyn shot the ball better and slowly chipped away at the lead and made the game an ugly back and forth for the second half. There will be questions about the offense’s continued stagnation and the team’s inability to shoot. But going into Game 4 is a lot easier to handle down 2-1 compared to 3-0. Milwaukee needs to keep things simple and while Giannis and Khris combining to score 68 points will always be welcomed, the hope that others step up is needed.

Brooklyn might feel like they missed an opportunity to steal a game, especially after Kevin Durant’s late three pointer might have been the winner. The Nets will likely try and think of how to try and not to get into an early hole or let Giannis dominate in the paint. Milwaukee will be without Donte DiVincenzo while Brooklyn is without Jeff Green and James Harden again.

Player to watch

Jrue Holiday had a very rough game on Thursday. But then he pops up and hits a game winner which might have saved Milwaukee’s season. Holiday knows he’s gotta be better and perhaps his heroics will lead to a bounce back in Game 4.
