The Milwaukee Bucks engineered an insane comeback after a first quarter deficit, coming all the way back to hold off the Phoenix Suns 123-119 on their home court and take a 3-2 series lead. The dream of Bucks in six is alive and well.
Phoenix shot a ludicrous 77.5% to start the game off, catapulting them to a 37-21 lead after the first period. Milwaukee (and especially Jrue Holiday) responded in the most impressive fashion, vaulting ahead of Phoenix at halftime 64-61. The Bucks responded with yet another quarter of solid offensive execution, entering the fourth up 100-90. Milwaukee mustered just enough buckets to stave off the Suns furious comeback and take a series lead.
Stat that Stood Out
There’s nobody else that deserves this section more than Jrue Holiday, who went 4-20 last game and poured in 27 points and 13 assists on 12-20 shooting. His playmaking and shotmaking was like wizardry tonight. His alley oop to Giannis to seal it was icing on the cake. What a performance.
