It’s been a long, winding road to get to this point, but we finally arrived: the Milwaukee Bucks are NBA champions. Behind an instantly unforgettable performance from Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee took down the Phoenix Suns 105-98 in a raucous Fiserv Forum. Riley, Kyle and myself gathered after the trophy ceremony to break it all down.

First, we discuss what this win means to each of us and our journey as fans. Then, we dial in on the ins and outs of how Giannis dissected this Phoenix defense even while his teammates struggled to find their groove. The sheer mastery of his repertoire, and the freakin’ free throw shooting, it was all on display en route to 50 points. Afterwards, we talk about all the major players on this Bucks roster and how they contributed to the win. Jrue Holiday’s playmaking and defense, Khris Middleton’s clutch shooting, Bobby Portis coming up huge, Brook Lopez adapting, Pat Connaughton balling, P.J. Tucker leading and Mike Budenholzer making the right calls when it mattered, it all added up to this historic win.
Of course, we tack on a bit of pettiness before discussing our favorite memories from the season as a whole. One note, apologies in advance for a bit more swearing than usual. Thanks, as always, to every single person for listening.
