Living Their Best Life: Highlights From The Bucks’ Championship Parade

Alternate headline: WE LIT

The Milwaukee Bucks had their championship parade and, as one would expect, it was a party for the fans, the staff, and the players. Plenty of fans noticed the joy and fun that was had, but let’s talk about the notables:

Brandon Jennings

The prophet himself was enjoying the opportunity to be a part of something special. His message ‘Bucks in Six’ came true and the fact the Bucks organization embraced and brought him back to be a part of it was a classy move on their part. Jennings being in the parade, chugging and doing a Triple H special on the back of a pickup truck was top notch work. 10/10.

Marques Johnson

Another Bucks legend ownership brought back into the fold and honestly, he’s fit enough to still drop 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists on you. Today. 10/10.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo

Thanasis was in the league’s COVID protocol, which prevented him from being on the bench for Games 5 and 6 and joining the initial celebrations. For the parade, he was able to be a part of it, but had to stay in his own car.

No worries though, as he still celebrated just as hard as he plays on the court. 20/10

Jeff Teague, Bryn Forbes, Pat Connaughton, Bobby Portis

The bench mob each had their key moments to bringing the Bucks a title this postseason. They enjoyed their time on stage (starts at 2:11 in the video below), Jeff Teague brought a top-tier quote, Pat’s shades are the kind you wear when you party too hard and need to dim the sunlight, and I need the belt Bobby has. 25/10.

Jamie Dinan

I’ve never heard this man speak but he brought the energy and wants more. 30/10.

Mike Budenholzer

There’s not great video evidence but let’s just say Bud was glad to be a champion and had some fire kicks. 40/10.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Top-tier trolling from the Finals MVP. 50/10.

PJ Tucker

WE DOGS AND WE ARE LIT. 1000000000/10.

Whether you were at the parade or watched it at home, I hope you were all able to soak in the experience. If not the champagne.
