Damian Lillard found his groove early, connecting on a pair of threes. He also was nifty driving to the hoop, creating some free throw attempts. He ended up with 15 points in the first frame, the leading factor in Milwaukee carrying a 33-28 lead into the second quarter.

The duo of Dame and Giannis would start clicking in the second quarter. Giannis pieced together 17 first half points, aiding the Bucks in owning a double-digit advantage at the break, 71-60.

Damian Lillard kept collecting baskets throughout the third. Going into the fourth, he found himself with 32 points. It was the leading ingredient in the Bucks owning a 100-91 lead after three periods of play.

While the fourth featured the Rockets slicing the Bucks’ lead to single digits, it never felt as if there was danger for Milwaukee. After crossing their t’s and dotting their i’s, they secured a 128-119 victory.

Stat That Stood Out

Right from the opening tip, you could see that this was going to be a Damian Lillard night. The aggression he had was visible from miles away. It all started with his 12 first quarter points and continued throughout the remainder of the game. An aggressive Dame always benefits the Bucks and it surely did tonight with his 39 points.
