Things are looking up?

NBA: Detroit Pistons at Milwaukee Bucks Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

In this week’s Tuesday Tracker, we asked you some In-Season Tournament questions in the wake of the Bucks’ loss, plus got a temperature check on the defense. Here are some of the notable takeaways:

  • After some solid spot starts, 57% of those asked prefer Andre Jackson Jr. to Malik Beasley in the starting lineup, though 38% felt the latter should keep his starting role.
  • In a closing lineup, though, 36% prefer Jae Crowder alongside the core four starters, while Ajax (21%) barely edged out Pat Connaughton (20%) and Beasley (18%).
  • A majority of fans (65%) polled feel the defense is improving to some degree, up 3% from the last time we asked in week 5.
  • Regarding Ballgate, seven in ten respondents think the Pacers were deliberating trying to keep a/the game ball away from Giannis last week, and nearly eight in ten think Adrian Griffin was justified in re-inserting his starters late in the game.
  • Griffin’s approval rating is up 16% from last week, and his disapproval figure fell 25% after it reached a season-high 44%.
  • There was a 15% positive swing in terms of those who feel the Bucks can win a title as currently constructed, up from last week’s season low 52% who answered yes.
