Most responses came in before Thursday night

A few days might have made somewhat of a difference in the outcome of a few of the questions we asked you Tuesday about the current state of the Bucks. After losing back-to-back games in quite dispiriting fashion, you can excuse fans for feeling gloomy after Monday night’s debacle. Then the Celtics came to town exhausted after an overtime affair in Minneapolis the evening before, restoring some faith in the Bucks. With the disclaimer that 85–90% of votes came in before Thursday night’s game, here are some highlights from this week’s polling:

  • An alarming 60% of respondents think the Bucks would lose to the Pacers in a playoff series, with 42% of them thinking it would be a sweep or gentleman’s sweep.
  • Over half of respondents think the Bucks can’t put together an average defense this year, but a quarter think they can.
  • About a quarter also feel Milwaukee will stay in the 2 seed, but 70% thought they will slip to third or lower.
  • A slight majority (51%) would make a coaching change over making any trade(s) (45%) before next month’s trade deadline.
  • 78% of fans polled disapprove of Adrian Griffin’s job performance, with his approval rating at a season-low 5%. Jon Horst’s approval rating also slipped to a season-low 63%.
  • Just 22% of respondents think the Bucks can win a title as they currently stand, with 65% believing they cannot.
