NBA: Sacramento Kings at Milwaukee Bucks Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

In a clash between two offenses stacked with firepower, the Milwaukee Bucks knocked off the Sacramento Kings on a Damian Lillard buzzer beater. Box Score

Game Recap

Sacramento has a high-flying offense, and it showed to begin this one. De’Aaron Fox was getting a majority of the buckets early on, going 4-of-5 in the opening frame for 12 points. Headed into the second, the Kings held a 37-32 lead.

Led by some scoring from Giannis, the Bucks were able to overturn the script and re-gain the lead going into the break. Antetokounmpo had 14 points at the break. De’Aaron Fox had the same amount on the Sacramento side.

Malik Beasley kept his hot shooting going in the third, playing a key role in the Bucks keeping their halftime advantage. Through three quarters, he’d climb up to 21 points, which led the Bucks and granted them a 95-91 lead headed into the fourth.

It was a chippy fourth quarter, highlighted by a wild Mike Brown ejection. The Kings tied it on a De’Aaron Fox layup following a missed Giannis free throw, sending this one to OT at 128-128.

And then Dame Time hit. In a rollercoaster of an overtime period, it finished with Damian Lillard coming down the court, and burying a ridiculous buzzer-beater:

Just WOW. The Bucks won 143-142.

Stat That Stood Out

DAME TIME. He’d score 29 points on the night, with none bigger than the game-winner. An absolute masterpiece from him. What an environment. What a shot. What a game. More to come in the Extended!
